Holiday Lights at the Beach: Enjoy this fun journey into nautical, holiday and adventure lands on Virginia Beach's boardwalk! The lights are open nightly at 5:30 through January 1. Santa’s Seaside Village: Presented by Catch 31, Santa's Seaside Village is oceanfront at Atlantic Avenue and 30th Street! The village features animatd displays, live entertainment, shopping and Santa Claus himself! It's open Friday through Sunday from 2:00 until 9:00 p.m. through January 1. Big Screen Saturdays at the Virginia Aquarium: Come partake in a time-honored family tradition - watching holiday movies together! Now through Christmas Eve, you can watching movies including It's a Wonderful Life, Polar Express and more. Tickets are available online here. Pugh Family Christmas Lights Display: Chesapeake's Pugh family participated in ABC's 'Christmas Light Fight,' and now you can see their magical display in person! To see their display, just drive down Heydon Court in Chesapeake. Garden of Lights at the Norfolk Botanical Garden: Open nightly from 5:30 until 10 p.m. through December 31, the Garden of Lights features more than one million twinkling lights! Purchase tickets on the Botanical Garden website here. ‘Elf: The Musical’ at Chrysler Hall: Playing this weekend, December 16 through 18, the popular musical has tickets still remaining to all five performances. Dickens Christmas Towne: Open now through December 31 at Virginia Zoo, Dickens Christmas Towne lets you shop for a good cause while also enjoying live entertainment, a puppet show, tree forest and so much more. Surf’n Santa 5 Miler: Taking place this Saturday, December 17, this Santa fun run still has registration space available! Register online now and get your Christmas gear ready!
