How does the Warranty process work?
Upon receipt of your warranty service request a Warranty Department Representative will process the request then notify you to schedule a date and time. After you are scheduled, the Warranty Department will mail you a confirmation letter with your appointment date and time.
Warranty work, if required, will be performed at intervals of one, six and 11 months after your occupancy or closing date, whichever occurs first. Only items of an emergency nature will be addressed in between scheduled warranty time frames.
As outlined in our Orientation Inspection and Acceptance Form, "cosmetic" items will only be considered on the One Month Warranty.
Additional service requests received subsequent to the one month visit will be held on file by the Warranty Department for action during the six month warranty visit. This procedure will be repeated for the month 11 visit.
To initiate these actions, you must submit a written request (using one of the warranty service request forms provided in your orientation booklet) to the Warranty Department at our corporate office or submit your request online here.
Can I visit my new home while it's being built?
Yes, you may visit your new home from Dragas but we must go with you. Simply call ahead to make an appointment.
Please be prepared to wear the safety hard hat we will give you whenever you visit your home. This is required by construction codes and insurance guidelines for your safety.
Please understand that once flooring has been installed in your new home from Dragas, it is our policy to limit access to prevent damage.
